Hello people,

This is a news for those who have long been expecting that PTDF will call or send an invitation for Aptitude Tests.

Finally, it has come. They just started sending mails as invitation for the Aptitude Tests for applicants who were shortlisted for the scholarship.

A friend of mine just got his some minutes ago. Check your mail and see if they shortlisted you for the tests.

If they did call you, remember we have questions here to help you prepare for the tests.

I wish you the very best of luck.

That's the myth that people carry around when it comes to PTDF.

However, my advice is that you put in your best and make sure you do well in the test. That's first. If after the test you are convinced about your performance and you feel you have all it takes to be shortlisted as one of the best candidates. Then you should proceed with all your might to securing an admission into the university of your choice.

One thing you should rule out of your mind is the issue about having your admission letter with you when going for the tests. ADMISSION LETTER INTO ANY INSTITUTION IS NOT A CRITERIA FOR WRITING THE TESTS. AT LEAST AS FAR AS I KNOW.

Try your best and make it real in the examination. Afterwards, you can start talking of admission.

BIG ADVICE FOR YOU ON THE APTITUDE TEST DAY -  GET TO THE EXAMINATION EARLY ENOUGH. PROBABLY 8AM EVEN IF YOUR TIME IS 5.00PM (just saying). There you'll be able to meet people who have written the tests before your own batch and you can interact with them. they can share the questions they came across with you. you can even build your own question database from there. IT WILL HELP YOU A LOT.

Bye for now. I wish you the very best.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you still anything else. You can either reply to this thread or send a personal message to me.

Thanks for the question @Samify07.

In the time past, PTDF tests used to be in 3 sections, but the last I know about the same tests, its in 2 sections. Section A for general knowledge and section B for your chosen field of study. All the questions are of course multichoice.

Now for occupational safety. Your section b should not contain calculations but just some stuffs about general health and safety issues especially as it has to do with Oil & Gas.

THe only thing here is that there are a million and one questions they may want to ask in this field. However, if you can cover a lot of ground, you should be able to make something out of it.

Hope I've managed to answer your questions?

All the very best for you.

@macsmicj,

Thanks for your feedback. I have personally checked the links and the files. They are all ok except for the PTDF Past Questions Part 1. We will fix this in the next couple of minutes.

Please retry the download and reply on this thread if you still have any issues downloading or opening any of them.
